    Space needed for A7s

My listening room 25X15 or 375 sq.ft. is this room too small for A7s?
    Thanks in Advance!

I'm not sure what Altec's recommendation was, but i've always felt that 400 sq ft was approaching the very bare minimum for good hifi, they should still be workable at 375 especially if you can position them across the shorter dimension of the room such that they "throw" the long dimension allowing your listening position to be well forward of the rear wall. For my own personal tastes i'd have to damp the bejeezus out of a room that small, but would otherwise appreciate the intimacy and immediacy of that size listening space.

I'm not sure what you mean by damping, maybe I should share a little more info about the space.

with area rugs couch and lazy man chair thats all.

Sounds like a nice cave. A-7's can only make it nicer.

Too small? Mine is about 260sq ft and the A7/A5 fits just fine.
    Go for it.

I won't be much help, as I don't exceed reasonable volumes very often these days.
Though I have been known to just wheel them over to each other and stand between them on occasion. :-)

(there's usually an HF section involved as well of course)

PS. I couldn't find it in short order, but you may want to look up the painting of Pano's listening position for context. :-)
